WHAT IS 3D LASER SCANNING?

3D scanning is a method of capturing information with laser light by measuring the reflection with a sensor. The captured information is used to make 3D digital representations of the target. Our scanners emit 976,000 points per second, being capable of capturing objects and surfaces with great precision and detail, with which it is possible to develop very high-quality floor plans and 3D models.

Determination of the level of detail
The level of detail is determined, (LOD) From this, we decide which of our innovative tools will be used in your project.

Acquisition of the object / On site
Information acquisition begins with the selected measurement method. With our methods, we shorten the capture time and are therefore significantly faster than with conventional measurement methods

Data processing / Off-site
After the capture, the processing and generation of point clouds, digital twins and / or BIM models follows.

Data transfer and processing 
We create your data for a specific purpose. Either for 2D CAD.  BIM modelling or 3D documentation.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SECTOR

A large food and beverage company installed a new robotic line in their facilities. By scanning and 3D documenting the area, the iSCANO team created a 2D and 3D drawing including tanks, valves, pipework, and robotic machinery with as-built accuracy.

By using point cloud data, iSCANO was able to produce base models of the infrastructure with millimetric precision while preserving the structural integrity with non-intrusive laser data.
